LifeARC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal, health, and financial information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our AI-powered medical analysis platform and our public tools, such as the Lifespan Calculator and other estimate or contact forms on our website.

1. Information We Collect

Medical Summary Data: PDFs or other documents you upload for analysis.
Account Information: Name, email, organization details, and login credentials.
Calculator & Inquiry Data: When you use our public tools, such as the Lifespan Calculator, the information you voluntarily enter. This may include your name, email, phone number, age, sex, smoking status, general health information (such as self-reported conditions and their severity), and financial information (such as investable assets), along with the estimate we generate for you and basic attribution data (such as the page or campaign that referred you).
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our platform, such as pages visited and features used.
Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and other technical information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Analyze medical summaries and provide structured medical insights.
Generate life expectancy estimates and mortality-related metrics.
Generate the longevity and financial-planning estimates you request through our public calculators.
Improve and maintain our platform and services.
Communicate with you regarding account updates, security alerts, and service-related notices.
With your consent, contact you about and market our products and services, including longevity-based financial planning, and follow up on estimates you request.
Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA.

3. HIPAA Compliance and Data Security

LifeARC is designed to handle sensitive medical information in a secure, HIPAA-compliant manner:

Medical data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
We conduct regular security assessments and follow industry-standard practices for data protection.

Note: While we follow HIPAA guidelines, users are responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations when uploading medical data. HIPAA applies to medical records processed through our platform; information you voluntarily enter into our public calculators is handled as described in Section 4 below.

4. Public Calculators and Marketing Communications

We offer free, public tools such as the Lifespan Calculator that do not require an account. When you use these tools:

Voluntary information. The health and financial information you enter is provided voluntarily by you to generate an illustrative estimate. It is not collected from medical records and is not protected health information under HIPAA; we process it as described in this Policy.
Sensitive personal information. Some of this information, such as health and financial details, is considered “sensitive personal information” under laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We use it only to generate your estimate, to provide and offer the products and services you ask about, and for the other purposes described in this Policy. We do not sell it.
Marketing and contact consent. If you provide your contact details and consent, we may contact you (including by phone, text message, or email, which may involve automated dialing or prerecorded messages) to discuss our products and services, including longevity-based financial planning. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to text messages, using the unsubscribe link in our emails, or contacting us at support@abacusintel.com.
Security. Information you submit through these tools is encrypted in transit and stored encrypted at rest, and access is limited to authorized personnel.
Illustrative only. Estimates produced by these tools are illustrative and are not medical, actuarial, or financial advice.

5. Cookies, Local Storage, and Tracking

LifeARC uses only cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary to operate the site. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or cross-site tracking technologies, and we do not sell or share personal information collected through cookies.

Authentication cookies: set by our identity provider (Auth0) during login to keep your session secure. These are created only when you sign in to the portal.
Local and session storage: your browser stores a session access token and interface preferences (for example, your acknowledgment of our cookie notice) on your device. This data is not used for tracking and is removed when you log out or clear your browser data.
Third-party fonts: our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which involves your browser requesting the font file from Google. This request does not set cookies.

Because we use no non-essential cookies, no cookie consent choices are currently required. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and request your consent before setting them.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal, health, or financial information. We may share information with:

Service Providers: Companies that help us operate the platform (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics) under strict confidentiality agreements.
